Take measurement under armpits, around fullest part of chest and shoulder blades.
Measure around where you normally wear your pants, keeping the tape measure a bit loose or putting one finger between your body and the tape measure.
For hip circumference, measure your fullest point, approximately 8” below your natural waist.
In a standing position, measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.

These look similar to the old youth scrambler pants, but they are not as good. While they kept the knee and bottom pads that were great on the scrambler pants the gore tex material is too loud and impractical. I wish they would have kept the scrambler pants, it is frustrating when you find something good and then it gets discontinued.
Just got cyclone pant and jacket for my grandson. Pleased with product and fit; but haven't had a chance to try it yet since the windchill today was -31C. My only complaint is the price because i paid in CND currency. the $119 escalated to $170. the $49 delivery charge escalated to $70 and then there was the duty charge of $105, bringing the grand total to $345 for the pants. Nothing to do with Sitka; just a heads up to fellow Canadians. Great gear, just can't afford the exchange rate. Thanks for a speedy delivery and quality product.
I’ve refined my system for about 15 years but write this with only one caveat — don’t simply take my word for it. Yes, these are my personal choices, but the ideal setup for you may vary based on your body type, hunt conditions and preferences...

Waterproof. Tested hunting blacktail in Kodiak, Alaska. But they’re noisy.
After outgrowing the last version of this pant we re-ordered. As someone who has enjoyed most everything I've purchased as a Sitka Pro, these pants are pretty awful. Material is stiff, loud, and there are zero pockets. It surprises me that no one thought these were a bad design. We'll be returning them.
Had the last cyclone pant before they decided to change it. We loved the last pair as they were quiet and warm. The new material is loud and my son doesn't like the feel. We will be returning and trying to find a better option elsewhere.
Bought for my son for turkey season. When he walks around you hear a swish swish noise. Too loud.
