Only 4 stars cause of the fit. Felt a little around waist, then slims down to upper thighs. After that fits was great. Comfortable, warm, and blocked the wind nicely.

Traverse pant review

When I first received the Sitka Traverse Pants, I expected them to be made from the same material as the Traverse Jacket. Initially, I was a little surprised by how much lighter the pants felt compared to the jacket. After spending some time wearing them, though, I completely understand why Sitka designed them this way. The lighter-weight material makes the pants extremely comfortable and easy to move in, whether you're hiking, climbing, or covering a lot of ground during a hunt. They don't feel bulky or restrictive, and they breathe much better than a heavier fleece-style pant would. Another thing I appreciate is how quiet they are in the woods. The fabric doesn't create much noise when moving through brush or getting into position, which is always important for hunting. The Optifade Subalpine pattern looks great and blends well into the terrain I hunt most often. Overall, the Traverse Pants have grown on me quite a bit. While they weren't what I initially expected, I now see the benefit of the lighter construction. They're comfortable, quiet, easy to move in, and have quickly become one of my favorite hunting pants.

I’ve been very impressed with the Sitka Traverse Jacket. It has become one of my favorite pieces of hunting gear because of how versatile it is. The jacket works exceptionally well as a fleece mid-layer, providing plenty of warmth without feeling bulky or restrictive. It’s lightweight enough to wear comfortably during active hunts, yet warm enough to take the chill off cool mornings and evenings. One thing that surprised me is how well it handles light moisture. While it’s not a dedicated rain jacket, it does a respectable job repelling light rain and morning dew, which adds to its versatility in the field. The Optifade Subalpine camouflage pattern is another standout feature. The pattern blends extremely well in East Tennessee woods, especially in green vegetation, early season cover, and wooded terrain. It breaks up your outline effectively while still looking great. Overall, the Sitka Traverse Jacket is a lightweight, comfortable, and versatile fleece that performs well as a layering piece or outer layer in mild conditions. If you’re looking for a dependable hunting jacket with excellent camouflage and all-day comfort, it’s hard to go wrong with the Traverse.

Hudson Jacket

Excited to put this to use this duck season! Feels great and gonna get well used! I’m a short guy, sleeves are a little long but other than that fits well. Wish yall had a XL short option.

I bought this hoodie for early turkey season in the northeast to provide some more warmth than the fanatic hoodie. It fits well and serves the same purpose with the warmth I was looking for. It remains to be seen how well I can hear through it.

Great protection from the sun. Very breathable, very comfy. Something to think about, they fit a bit tight in the groin area, so… if you run a bit larger… size up one or two. Other than that, great fit.

Hudson Jacket

Wonderful material and truly water proof Has some insulation in them so Summer use is out of question but is really functional Spring Fall and Winter. Have the Hudson Bib too and it is truly outstanding for power washing heavily soil machine. Grime was right off. Too bad its is going out of production as the price is definitely right on sale.

Very nice, well made jacket. Bought from outlet for general purpose winter coat. Excellent quality and construction. Seemed to be cut wide in belly and narrow in shoulders compared to blizzard parka. Overall very happy

Great jacket for cold weather whitetail hunting. Expensive, but can't find anything to compare to this level. Fits more snug than blizzard parka, which is great for bow use. Well thought out, well designed.

I picked up some new Hudson jacket in dirt. I already own the 2025 version in Optifade Marsh. This jacket is the do everything for cold and wet weather. Absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone looking for weather protection in the roughest conditions.

Great shirt for work outs

I really like these shirts because they are long enough to tuck into my shorts. All the free Tees I've gotten over the years are too short to do this (I'm 6'3"). I suppose that's why they were free. Kudo's to Sitka for designing a properly fitting shirt.

Love this shirt. Can wear it all day and be protected. I have long arms and the large fits well. I’m a bit broader so it’s a bit narrow, but I didn’t want a boxy fit.

Great bibs

Guiding in Alaska requires many different types of gear. These bibs are lightweight, easy on off and keep you dry during our crazy Alaskan weather. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs to stay dry without the bulk of putting on waiters.

Best Pants!

Got these to replace my mountain pants. The knee pads are better and the open vents are everything I needed for Colorado elk and muley. I’m 6’1, 219 lbs. former athlete, and pants are always difficult to find the right fit for me at the waist and thighs without being too long. But wow, the intercept pants knocked it out of the park!
