It’s a blaze vest

It’s a blaze vest. I have many, but figured I would worded this to put over my Fanatic gear since it’s sized. Very nice quality and fit. Blood comes right out when you wash. Would buy again if I needed to.

More to be desired

This vest fit true to size but left more to be desired. The pockets are too small to carry many shells. It would be much more useful with a back pocket for carrying birds. I would also like it to have a zipper front or multi buckle for more secure fit.

GREAT PURCHASE

Love the vest fit is perfect, I also like the closure… only thing I would change is to have a license tab or grommet on the back for license… I did not want to like a hole through the material

I decided to upgrade my hunter's orange vest and I'm glad I did. The Ballistic Vest from Sitka performed flawlessly in the field and the fit and finish was much better than any other hunter's orange vest that I've worn over the years. The added zipper pockets made it nice for holding small items with easy access! I would purchase this again!

Not just any vest

This is very easy to get on and off. I shoot lefty so It was important that I could switch the side of the pad. Also easy to open to access Bino’s

Great quality, poor design

Just me being picky but I didn’t notice that this vest was not zip-up, but rather nylon straps and plastic cargo clips. Might be perfect for some but I prefer a zipper with no gap. Great quality though overall though. Just a preference thing.

This is by far nicest quality safety vest i have ever purchased. The large pockets are nice for holiding my accessories like flashlight or other hunting accessories. Built in shoulder shooting pad nice also. Like all Sitkagear this is a top quality vest. Highly recommend!

The vest is exactly what you need for gun hunting. The vest is not bulky, and the few pockets keeps gear organized. The only thing I would change would be to add the padding to both shoulders.

I bought this for bear season in MI. It fits comfortably and quietly, which is important for almost all types of stand hunting. I have used it all deer season, and it has been durable and easy to put on over the necessary layers.

It’s a great vest only

It’s a great vest only one thing no eyelet’s for my hunting license. I’m my state it’s mandatory we wear it on our backs. Otherwise everything else is great!

Love the vest. The magnetic closure seals the deal for me (no pun intended). Pocket placement is a little awkward but the vest permits easy access to jacket pockets so it’s not a big deal as I can use the jacket pockets and ignore the vest pockets. Bino harnesses make using the zippers on the zip cargo pockets a challenge. Ideally those zippers should be a bit higher or lower to make it easier to get around them with a harness. Hand pockets are too far rearward to be easy to use. But again, I just use my jacket pockets and no issues.

Best I’ve owned, if you hunt out west this vest I’d highly recommend, PS…. Don’t tell anyone, but remove the shooting pad and slide mega hand warmers in there and bam, keeps you warm too, ……..
