Great base layer

I always thought my carhart base layers were good enough and there was no need to upgrade to more expensive Sitka. I always thought they’re nitch was outerwear and there was no need to shell out extra money for their base layer products. I was wrong this is so comfortable and warm, but I don’t overheat easily. Part of me wants to sleep in this. Also it doesn’t smell which is advantageous in whitetail woods. I’m buying another for my dad for Christmas who doesn’t even hunt but I know he’ll love it around the house and yard. A little pricey, but worth the money to me.

Best base I've ever owned

Very comfortable. Very warm for the weight/bulk. Can wear only this upper while hiking down to about 30 degrees. Throw on a coat when stopped. This and the jetstream are all I need for active hunts with short glassing periods. For long glassing periods I add one more layer. 6'3" 270lbs. 2XL is slightly baggy. Runs larger than other sitka products IMO.

Love this color and the half Zip. Merino is very soft and quite warm. I wear as both base layer and outer. This is my second one and the first is still in great shape. When you can buy Sitka on sale it is a tremendous value.

I love this shirt. This is the second one I purchased. It's soft and warm and feels great against my skin. When I ordered it there was not an option for a solid green or heather green/brown or I would have ordered one for everyday use also. I highly recommend this shirt.

Fits great and the size proportion is good. Bought the XL. Love the half zip for the walk into the stand. Great 2nd baselayer on colder sits also. Also the longer cuffs around your thumbs are petfect.

Fantastic Piece

This is the best heavyweight merino in my opinion. I have First Lite Furnace pieces as a comparison. To me, the Core 330 is very warm and much more comfortable on my skin than the Furnace.

Nice base layer

Good base layer, super comfortable. My only complaint is it doesn't come in tall sizes so I needed to size up in order for it to fit. That kinda takes away from how well it works since you want base layers tight. Would be a great piece if it fit a little better. Will still be using it regardless.

Had 40 mph winds and temps in the 40’s yesterday. Figured I try them out with my Stratus bibs and coat. That was it. They did their job! Now granted I was in a shooting house, but didn’t need the heater and was comfortable to and from on the 4 wheeler
