The top is warm on cold days but it does seem to run a little big. I am used to wearing under armour base layer which is tight to the skin. This is a looser fit which will take some getting used to.

This was an amazing base

This was an amazing base layer while hunting in St. Paul, Alaska, at -1 degrees. Mixed with the Gradient Jacket and the Hudson Jacket, it made for the perfect combination for the elements. I stayed warm and comfortable in the most demanding environment you could hunt. I recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect layering system with SITKA.

Great material weight and silky smooth to wear. Great for cool summer nights or perfect as that base layer on that cold elk hunt. A must have for all hunters.

Warm and sheds moisture/sweat

Wore this over my base layer merino top. I then wore a fleece sweatshirt and my down parka. Kept me perfectly warm standing on the side of the mountain in Wyoming watching a ski race. I was in the shade, standing in a foot of snow, with 15 mph winds. Never once did my top get cold. I shed my parka after hiking back up and the two merino wool base layers quickly shed any moisture I had, while still keeping me warm. The cutout to put your thumb through is a game changer. It allows the base layer to sit under the cuff of your glove, and also keeps it in place when adding and removing layers. I can't wait to use this on an elk hunt next winter/fall. It would be perfect as a standalone base layers in mid season and as a 2nd layer like I did for late season. I got a XXL and it fits slightly loose on me, which is what I wanted as I'm mostly using it above another layer of skin-tight merino.

Great layering piece. 6’1” 200lbs. Athletic build. Bought an XL and it is comfortable with a t shirt or lightweight layer underneath. Body is long so tucking it in is no problem.

Buy the 330s!

I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to buy these baselayers. They have been a giant help in my layering systems. They feel very soft next to skin, and they keep a lot of heat in. I bought the size large and the fit is very nice.

Awesome base layer. Very warm and comfortable with no itch. Runs a little short in the front but the tail being extended makes it easy to tuck in.

Perfect in cooler conditions

This is a great piece when you are still hunting in cooler temps. It is definitely the base layer you want during the late season. Extremely comfortable and perfect fit in medium if you are in the 155-160 range.

Worked great

Just used in a whitetail hunt in mid December for an all day hunt. Used as a base layer with tye fanatic jacket to help keep sweat away during moving through the trails and felt comfortable. I bought a large but typically wear XL (5'10 / 230lbs) and the large was a little tight but stretchy enough to work as a base layer. Would buy again!
