I'm 6 ft, 190 pounds, and returned the large for an XL.
The large was too snug to allow much if any layering under. To snug and restricted under the arm pit and shoulders. The XL allows both two Sitka lite weight and a mid weight plus a Sitka vest under this jacket.

Exceptional warmth and durability
The Sitka Duck Oven LT Hoodie fits true to size and has quickly become one of my go-to pieces for chilly morning and evening sits. It’s incredibly warm, durable, and versatile enough to wear as part of a layering system or as an outer layer depending on the conditions.
I’ve already had the opportunity to put it through some real-world conditions. I was caught in light rain while sitting in a tree stand, and even with the wind howling between 10–15 mph and temperatures around 42°F, the Duck Oven kept me warm and comfortable. It handled the conditions better just as I expected.
What continues to amaze me about Sitka is the quality of their products and how well they hold up when you actually put them through extreme conditions. The Duck Oven is no exception. It’s warm without feeling overly bulky, tough enough for the field, and versatile enough that I can see myself wearing it throughout the entire season.
Another excellent piece from Sitka. I’m extremely impressed with it so far and expect it to be a staple in my hunting system for years to come.
