Equinox Guard Hoodie Reviews

I love it but it

I love it but it runs like a 3xl

Comfortable

This hoodie goes great with the pants. I hunt in the Southern states and this keep mosquitoes off nicely without having to put on bug spray.

Excellent base layer

This shirt was excellent fur hunting spring turkey in warm buggy weather. did its job well, and the face cover and hood are very comfortable.

Great defense against swamp mosquitos!

Nice fit overall. I would prefer a snugger fit on the mask and hood. The facemask kept sliding down. Easy to move in. Breathes well. No mosquito bites except around the eyes where I only had 25% deet.

Equinox guard Hoodie

Hoodie was light and fit great. No ticks were seen while turkey hunting. Hoodie is amazing. Recommend to everyone.

Does what what it claims

Equinox Guard Hoodie

Haven’t had the chance to use it yet, but the fit is perfect. I believe it’s going to be exactly what I was hoping for.

Works great

Got this for turkey season and early fall whitetail. Fits great. Extremely lightweight. Pairs well with core lightweight underneath. The hood and face mask keeps flying bugs out too.

Great Hoodie

Excellent addition to my Turkey gear.

Best turkey shirt for hot weather

Amazing piece of equipment. Hood and face mask stays in place even while making those minor pivoting adjustments to eye ball that gobbler.

Works GREAT for keeping ticks

Works GREAT for keeping ticks off. I wore this shirt and he Equinox pants for a week in Africa. Everyone else was covered with ticks at one time or another. I never had a single tick on me the entire trip. The only issue I had was with the durability of the pants. They had a few cuts from the thorns after a week, so I can’t imagine they would last more than a month in those kind of conditions.

Perfect Turkey shirt!

This shirt is perfect for spring Turkey and early season bow hunting! The tick guard works great and the face mask is super handy!

Iron clad! This garment is an absolute must for early season hunting. The equinox line kept me protected from ticks, chiggers, and mosquitoes during my April turkey hunting trip.

So far so good. I've

So far so good. I've used it a couple times to set bear baits in North Idaho. It's worked well keeping the mosquitoes and flies off me. It runs very large. All my sitka gear tops I own are xl, I figured I'd go with the same size and I'm swimming in it.

Excellent quality and fit.

Works amazing for mosquitoes. I mainly use it for spring bear hunts in BC. It is the only Sitka piece I have that actually runs large. I in between med and large in everything but medium in this runs on the big side.

Love this Item

Actually, bought this for a cruise we took last month. Fit was great, easy to wear in the warmer temperatures and offered protection from the sun and looked good! Can't wait to wear on my bear hunt early this fall.

Feels great and fits great.

Feels great and fits great. Awesome hoodie for hunting in the spring time.

Worth it!!

Easy light weight material, no itching in the heat or the cold when you sweat. For sure will want this.

Absolutely love all the Sitka

Great product that keeps you cool and dries quickly in damp conditions!

Excellent product!! Can’t say enough

Excellent product!! Can’t say enough about this piece!! Use it in the fall with a base layer as well as under the Dakota hoodie in late fall/ early winter. Excellent for bow hunting whitetails!

No reason to deal with

No reason to deal with bugs anymore when wearing this. It has fit great, not too loose, not tight. The material is more durable than anticipated for a garment this light weight while in the thick turkey woods or early season white tail in southern Virginia and North Carolina. We are around the swamps a lot and bugs are a menace at times. Couldn’t be happier with its performance that now each of my kids has this for when we go out. The investment is totally worth it.

Great product. Love the light weight and face shield with hoodie. Worked great

Great Product

True fit, nice for hot weather hunts

Correct

Fits perfectly

Sleeve length

I have a pretty average wingspan for my size and I bought this product in a size large and everything fits great except the sleeves were probably 4 inches too long on each side the went past my fingertips and paying this much for a product I would expect them to fit a little better than that.

Great product

Hoodie fits well. Wasn’t able to try out the insect protection feature because it was cold and raining for our first day of spring gobbler season. Otherwise very happy so gar.

A must have for spring turkey season!

Purchased this as a light layer for the warmer days during turkey season and couldn’t be happier with it. The material is very comfortable and lightweight. It’s perfect for 70+ degree hunts. The design of the built in face mask is amazing. It is very functional and stays right where you want it (unlike most face masks that require adjustments throughout your hunt). I now wear this under my heavier jacket just for the face mask. This quickly became my new favorite quarter zip and will definitely be checking out other colors for everyday use!

First SITKA purchase

Picked-up this item because of a recommendation from a friend for a hunting trip in southern Mexico. Lightweight, breathable; even in the middle of the humid jungle, it stayed cool and kept the insects away.

The best that you can buy

Is amazing for hunting

Equinox Guard Hoodie

Thin base layer shirt. Love the built in face mask. Didn’t have to worry about putting on and taking off mask during turkey hunt because it’s always there built in the shirt

Best bug proof camo on the market…I still use spray but haven’t had a red bug, tick for 2 years!
