Awesome Protection
I was skeptical of how well the "Insect Shield" would preform with mosquitoes being very prevalent in my area. I was astonished of how well this hoodie repelled these pest and made being outside in the summer heat bearable. I recently took several of these on a fishing trip to Alaska and they were magnificent. My wife would not go outside without hers on. We made multiple hikes to fish the off the beaten path, well over 14 miles in one day and never worried about mosquitoes. Would not go on a trip without one of these hoddies in my luggage.

Disappointed in the material but excited to test
I’m excited to try my jacket this fall, however I will say I’m a little disappointed in the material. I thought the material was thicker however it is like a dry fit material. It would be good for a very warm fall day but anything below 50 degrees i would imagine I’ll be wearing something warmer. Also, I got a XL and I would say it’s a little bigger than I expected. I’m around 6”1 240lb I’m not sure a large would be a better fit. But the XL is baggy.

Clouds of bugs
Just returned from a Canadian bear hunting trip in the most mosquito, black fly, tick infested swamp I’ve ever seen. Literally clouds of bugs wanting to eat me. I use the Equinox Guard for all of my early season sqyirrel/deer/turkey hunting. It works great to repel bugs and keep ticks out, so I ordered a set of tan pants, a blue and a green shirt for camping, hiking and mushroom hunting. Large shirt is a good fit, 6'00" 185lbs and my arm length is around 35. 5-36" I usually order large tall to fit my arm length, but these shirts fit great.
