Keep the bugs away

In my first time wearing a Equinox Guard gear set (pant, hoodie, and gloves) with insects shield, I spent an evening in one of my favorite stands to hunt feral hogs. The great difference was all the annoying gnats and no-see-ums that swarm the area, though still present and I could see them all around me, kept a barrier to keep from buzzing in my ears or landing on my face/hands/legs. Extremely impressed with this gear.

These are my go to pants for hunting down here in Florida. Especially turkey hunting. Sitting and crawling on the ground.

These pants are great, they are extremely light weight and have kept the bugs out so far. The only thing I don’t like about them is that they don’t have back pockets. This should be standard on all pants, especially when they cost this much.

I have two of these pants for work and play, and they are a must-have in the tick, chigger, and mosquito-infested areas I frequent. I have been very impressed with the performance and the build and durability are inline with all my Sitka gear.

Great pants for moderate climates

This spring while turkey hunting I had tall grass and with it ticks, chiggers and other biting insects that can make a hunt miserable. These pants did a great job of protecting my legs from those critters while keeping me silent as I walked into my hunting locations. The only downside if you want to consider it that is the pants are thicker than some of the other options so here in the south where it gets really warm early on they can make you sweat a lot. On the other hand they will be awesome come this fall when the weather turns just a little cooler and the mosquitoes are still out.

No bug bites!

I got the Equinox for working outside when the mosquitos are bad. Not a single bite since getting them. I also scouted an area that is known to have ticks. With the little sleeves at the bottom of the pant that tuck into socks I didn’t get any. These are gonna be my go to turkey hunting and summer scouting pants as well. Pockets are also well placed to work well with a tree saddle. Looks like early season whitetail pants too.

Good fit and seems to keep skeeters from hitting me. The tuckable inner leggings work great to keep most any insect from getting in your pants

Best outdoor pants in the market

I love to dove hunt, turkey hunt, you name it, I hunt it in the Southeast. The biggest distraction is insects. I hate getting bit or stung when I am trying to enjoy my day hunting. These pants are the dang ticket! The woven material is great; but I absolutely love the extra protection in the legs to keep ticks out. Good job Sitka, you did it again!

Simply Outstanding!

I bought these pants to work in mosquito and tick infested woods setting up trail cameras for the upcoming whitetail season in Missouri and Iowa. After spending multiple days in the woods and high grass, I had no bites and/or ticks on my legs. They fit well and are cut right for hunting. Can’t wait to wear them next spring for turkey season.
