Equinox Guard Pant Reviews

Comfortable and well designed

Perfect spring turkey pants. Tuck your socks into the inner liner at your feet and wear some tall permethrin treated boots and you’ll come home tick and insect free. Wouldn’t catch me wearing anything else.

Like the new pattern! Love

Like the new pattern! Love the double zipper!! Little on the pricey side compared to some other brand I own! And no back pocket is my biggest complaint but not a deal breaker! Very comfortable

Great pants, probably my favorite

Great pants, probably my favorite overall hunting/outdoor pants.

Great Pants

Very breathable and good for all around types of hunting.

Fit perfect

These fit perfectly and are more comfortable than earlier designs.

Sitka Equinox Guard Pant

Hunted in the Pennsylvania hardwoods along the NY border this spring, and these pants performed flawlessly. The fit was spot-on—comfortable in a blind or covering ground in the woods. They handled early morning chills and warmer afternoons with ease. What really stood out was how well the Core Optifade pattern blended in—my guide said I practically vanished against a tree. Lightweight, breathable, and durable. Zero complaints. Sitka nailed it.

I’ve had these pants for a couple weeks now and I’ve no complaints

Great pant

I wore these pants for turkey hunting in spring and the ticks never got to my skin. The part where your socks go over is a great idea.

Fit great also great tick repellent

Great warm weather hunting pants!

I got these pants for turkey season, but quickly learned that they’re gonna be great on my Archery this September. Very comfortable didn’t have any problem with ticks, chiggers or mosquitoes and I live in a high tick infested area… Highly recommend!

Fits nicely the hardest season

Fits nicely the hardest season with fleas, gnats and mosquitos comes here right now, so we will see how much protection those trousers and hoodie is.

Great for the spring woods

I enjoy the guard feature as an extra barrier from all the creepy crawlies in the woods

Equinox Guard Pant

Exactly what I was looking for!! Great fit and very comfortable. I matched the pants with the equinox hoodie for a great combo turkey hunting

Turkey hunting essential!

Well made. I especially appreciated the reinforced belt loops. I like to use the Kodiak pant suspenders with these pants so they don’t sag when carrying a pistol.

Comfortable hunting pants

Great fitting and comfortable. Wore them turkey hunting. Dropped a long beard and went home and took a nap in the recliner. If you don’t have these pants, get some.

Equinox guard

Hunted in a tick infest area. I had no ticks crawling on me. This gear does what they say it does

Equinox Guard Pant

Pant worked great this year for the 2025 turkey season. Traveled through tall grasses/fields throughout the Arkansas/Missouri season and didn’t find a single tick!

Very nice garment

Very light weight, true to

Very light weight, true to size most comfortable pair of hunting pants I’ve had. Love Sitka been using it for 2 years now

Turkey Man

Great pant. Brilliant design. Works well. Wish it had hip vents. Sitka continues making great gear.

Dose not have back pockets

Dose not have back pockets but dose go threw brush without tearing nicely but you will feel a prick or to they ain’t brush pants but they are tuff!

Guard pants

Love them, true to size. Bled in very well to different forest conditions

Turkey pants

Pants are lightweight and soft. They are just a little tight on me should have ordered a different size but I’ll just have to lose some weight before next turkey season .

New pants

Haven’t had a chance to use them. But they are extremely comfortable.

Great Product

I ordered these to use for Louisiana turkey season and I’m amazed at they keep insects away. This will be a go to for early October bow hunting.

I love the fell and

I love the fell and the stretch of the pants. Very comfortable

Love them already!

Wore it my first time on a spring turkey hunt in the Blue Ridge mountains of VA. . got to almost 80° during the day. Not only did I stay cool, I did not have one tick nor mosquito. . and they are definitely out! Absolutely worth the money. I know they will be especially during our September early antlerless

Great pant, comfortable, sized right, no ticks or bites yet

Like the pant. The "only" change I'd have is adding a belt like Stratus pants I have that came with. Fits great and movement is easy.

South Alabama Hunting Gear

Perfect clothing choice for my area during Turkey and Bow seasons

Best spring pants

Great pant for the early season, love the fact it keeps the bugs away. Super comfortable and lightweight, do the job.

very comfortable, I really like

very comfortable, I really like them

Equinox Guard Pants.

Excellent product used in conjunction with my Equinox Guard Hoodie. I didn't have any issues with insects last weekend while turkey hunting. Highly recommend. In addition, they are extremely breathable, especially when you open up the venting which still protects you from insects due to the internal mesh.

Lightweight

Love these pants. Perfect for turkey season.

Great pants

I really like these pants. The liner you can tuck in your socks is great to keep bug bites from your legs. Very comfortable

Perfect hot weather pants

We have a hunting lease that has the worst ticks and chiggers on planet earth. No amount of spray will keep you safe. I trail run, clear brush, feed quail over there all summer without a single bite as long as I wear my Equinox pants.

Tick Free

Worked great in Kansas no ticks.

Equinox Guard Hoodie

Fit was good. Deterred ticks and bugs. Would like to see cargo style pockets but ones available worked ok. Fast drying material, good for sweating on long hot hikes.

Good Warm Weather Hiking Pants

I wore these pants on a 7 day hiking & camping trip in Canada in August. The insecticide infused pants worked great as I never got a tick or bug bite. The pants are comfortable & cool. My only complaint is there are no back pockets on the pants so it took some getting used to. The pants breath well and dry quickly when I soaked them with sweat.

Great pants for turkey hunting!

Absolutely love them. Saw mosquitoes land on my leg and get frustrated that they couldn’t get through.

Great

Happy I grab this !

Equinox Guard Pant

Love the insect shield repellent. Keeps all the nasty critters off of me and lets me hunt comfortably. I got a 32R for my size and they fit perfectly. Light and Breathable pant for when it gets warm out and you don’t need to wear as much.

Love these

I got lime last year! This purchase was a no brainer! There very comfortable and fit perfect.

Good

Good, but are very thin.

Turkey hunting East TN

So far so good. They are light enough to wear either alone on the warmer days we have been having as well as under a pair of the traverse pants on the colder Mornings. I was torn between the subalpine or the new cover camo for spring turkey here and ended up going with the sub. Really happy and impressed how well it blends.

Great pants! Cool and great

Great pants! Cool and great design on the lowers (to keep out chiggers)!

Love the camo, bad exchange

Love the pants and they keep the bugs away. I ordered the wrong pattern at first and asked for an exchange of the new optifade cover and received optifade alpine, again. Do not make the names of your camo so similar.

Had to return did not

Had to return did not fit properly size up most definitely. Overall good pants not worth the price in my opinion.
