pants are good true to size fit like a glove on me really like the stretchy part the pocket placement works for me

Excellent turkey hunting pants!

The insect barrier works wonders. I was skeptical at first but after using I am a firm believer it keeps ticks off of you. I tuck the gaters in my socks and I don’t worry about them. The fit is good! Not like skinny pants but not baggy either. Perfect athletic fit! Thanks Sitka!

Light weight

Waist is right size I wear a 38 and bought a 38. It feels a bit tighter than I like around the thighs and butt. I wish there were rear pockets too.

Poor durability

Durability is terrible. First hunt in them and the entire leg is ripped. Not just a tear, my entire calf is exposed. I’ve bought many Sitka items, but extremely disappointed on how these turned out.

Needs a back wallet pocket

Tight fit

Overall the pants are good. They are tight in the crotch and upper thighs unfortunately. I have the traverse and mountain paints which I wear all the time. For some reason it appears they made the crotch on the equinox about 1 inch shorter than those which really makes everything much tighter and less comfortable. They are still wearable, I just wish they fit like their other pants which are perfect.

Went on an osceola hunt in south florida, worked perfect for the weather and the bugs

Honestly the equinox guard line

Honestly the equinox guard line is the absolute best defense against mosquitoes and other bugs. I watched a swarm of mosquitoes land on me, walk around, try to bite through the guard cloth, then just flew away (in the bayou of Louisiana for the record). Worth every penny.

The entire guard line is nice and this is the first time I've received a camo pattern that is better in person vs online. The various shades of Conceal are exactly what I've been looking for hunting early season VA.

These pants fit with the typical sitka fit. They are stretchy and lightweight, but do feel like they are tightly woven. Looking forward to turkey season in these!

Comfortable and Bug Free!

Comfortable pants that have more than enough stretch to do whatever. They work and keep bugs away. Mosquitoes at least. Was getting ate up around my legs in my backyard and put these pants on and no more mosquitoe bites. I'm 5'9 175lbs and 34 waist fit me good.

Love these pants! I bought

Love these pants! I bought them for an early season (March) African hunt. They were a little warm for late summer in South Africa but they served their purpose and protected my legs from the pioneer spike-thorn bushes! I did find the zippered side vents the second day which allowed a little breeze to cool down. Five days in the bush and not one snag from the thorns & zero wear on the knees even though I was crawling & kneeling on rocks daily. I highly recommend them and will buy them in different patterns for here at home.

Sitka Equinox Guard Pant

Love the pants how ever they do run a little small but they are absolutely the best pants for the early bug infested hunting season. We did a week long elk hunt in south Oklahoma where seed ticks are notoriously over bearing and often ruin hunts from the sheer amount of ticks but with these pants I had zero issues. If you are an early season hunter then these pants are a must purchase item! Also recommended combining them with the Equinox Guard Hoodie.
