Actually wards off ticks

I hunted 30 days during turkey season between helping my friends get birds and myself. In kansas normally have to pull several ticks off that are sunk in and find countless others crawling on me. This is the first year I’ve had ZERO latched on my lower half. In fact, one day I was sitting cross legged and watched three ticks try to crawl off my muck boots onto these pants and the insect guard had them flipping over backwards and falling off my legs. Will 100% never wear another pant during turkey season if it’s warm out!

Great Lightweight & Tick Proof Pants

I got these pants to hike & turkey hunt with. They are lightweight & comfortable & the fit was good. The insect repellent was a big plus as I don’t need tick bites to worry about. My only complaint is there are no rear pockets so you have to understand this when purchasing them. It took me a while to get used to as I use the back pockets for my cell phone & handkerchief. They also dry quickly as I sweat a lot when hiking. Otherwise they a good hiking & hunting pant & that’s why I own 2 pair!

Love how sitka pants fit and feel. I feel like an athlete moving through the woods totally unencumbered by the bulk of typical hunting pants which allows me to cover more ground.

I’m a 34x34 on all pants so I went with the same size here, I’m 6’1 and 210 pounds the fit is snug

Quiet, not very breathable, durable, silly pockets

Fit: Normal. Not slim like others have mentioned. I'm 33x32 and vary by pant. I got a 34x32 and wish I got a 32x32. Decent stretch so I think I would prefer that smaller size as I like more of a taper in the legs. Noise: Very quiet. Durability: Seem pick resistant so far. Weather: DWR seems fine. Not very breathable honestly, I was hiking in 60d weather yesterday and even with the vents open I still got hot. Downsides: The front diagonal pockets are useless. They don't vent like they say and you can't put anything in them really. Silly - fix this and make it a vent or a pocket. This is neither. . At the end of the day if these really do keep the bugs off it will be worth it. But they could be so much better and for the high price I don't think that's ok. But it's early still. I'll update if I can.

The pants are perfect for the application I purchased them for. The insect guard liner is very comfortable. The pants fit true to size and break great at the boots. Again, Sitka did not miss on detail in design. 10/10

Phenomenal pants for early season

I have watched many mosquitoes land and fly away disappointed. I used to find it hard to hunt in the tree early season, but not anymore! Thank you, Sitka! These are a home run!

Excellent quality. True to size. No butt pockets, and cargo pockets are unique and angled across the thighs. I can’t get over how comfortable these pants are! Soft but durable. Though they have some thickness to their layers, I have yet to feel hot wearing them.

Very breathable and light. The stretch material is very nice. Walking through tall grass in tick country I never found anything on me after multiple days

Bought these for a deer hunt in Texas. Was very impressed with how they replied insects. The weather was warmer than usual and the mosquitoes and spiders were out . The insects while sitting in the stand would not get close to the pants. Would highly recommend these pants for early deer season. The only issue is the pants fit true in the waist but the length for the legs are long.
