I’ve always been a Drake Waterfowl guy. This deer season I decided to switch to Sitka when I read about the insect shield technology in these pants. Sooooooooon! These are the absolute most comfortable pair of hunting pants I’ve ever slid my two pins in!! As for the insect shield tech, it works. Last night the pants were put to the test when one lone skeeter tried to get a taste of these juicy thighs. I could see while it tried to bite but as soon as it did, it immediately began to regret its decision and took flight. After two attempts, I was skeeter free. I can’t brag about these pants enough and can’t wait for the top to arrive.

The Equinox products are the same fit and quality, with no apparent odor or other negative effect of the insecticide treatment. The built in gators are not even noticeable, but provide an effective physical barrier to ticks climbing up from the ground and grass. A great product!

My bow season hasn't started yet but I did wear these in the sweltering dove fields. I can honestly say, these are the absolute best early hot weather pants I have ever tried and I've been trying hot weather camo since 1986. I love almost everything about these pants. I was skeptical about the zippered pockets/vents but not after wearing them in the field on multiple 100 plus degree days. These pants are exceptionally comfortable too. I would highly recommend to anyone hunting in hot weather!
