A micro-grid interior fleece provides critical warmth and pit zips dump heat during high exertion vertical climbs. It is exactly the right weight for temps down to 30 degrees. It does not feel bulky, and allows for free and easy movement. It will shed water, but I would say that it is far from waterproof. The same for wind; it is solid for light to moderate wind, but it is not what I would call conventionally wind proof.

Purchased for a Bear Hunt. I already have this in the Hunter Orange for Hunting that requires you to have the Orange. Enjoy them for wind protection and can layer up. The 3XL fits me. Jackets like Carhardt I can wear a 2XL tall.
