Newer model fits great

Originally had an older jetstream and it was a large it was too small to layer anything under it, the new models are designed to be able to layer and I can fit a puffer under it no problem.

For midseason hunting

Got this in Subalpine because they don't have a stratus 2. 0 in that pattern. I have one of these in Blaze orange, and it definitely cuts wind. I spend 5 hours at the gun range of a windy day last month and I was cold by the end, but I should have work a heavy base layer.

Bennett Jetstream

I have numerous Sitka coats and jackets and the problem I have found is they all fit different. I ordered a 2XL and it fits like an XL.

The Jetstream is everything they say it is and more. They keep the wind out when putting out field decoys in the morning but I don't over heat. I even have a black one for my going to town coat.

Love to pack this in my bag for the walk out, then slip it on when I'm in the tree. Does a great job blocking the wind from blowing through you. I have 2 of these, one in subalpine and one in blaze orange. Would definitely suggest adding this to your arsenal. Size XL

Had camo Jetstream but needed bright for walking in city. Great jacket technology perfect for activities. Cut of jacket the best. Hood and mobility for gun play and all else wonderful

I’ve purchased 6 jet streams over the years. They are exactly what I’ve needed. I work out in the mountains with all types of weather conditions. It keeps the wind out and keeps me warm with a sweater underneath.

Only problem with it is original zipper was bad but since it’s been fixed new zipper looks a lot higher quality. Other than that everything is good for what it’s marketed for.

Goto coat for cool weather

Jacket does a great job of breaking the wind, letting the moisture out, and keep you warm. Great fall piece by itself as well as a great outer layer when combined with some insulation for winter temperatures.

Lives up to the hype

This thing is just about perfect. It blocks the wind and with just a base layer on underneath it’s perfect for 55 -65 degrees. Add a sweatshirt and you’re good down to 35 or so depending on your level of exertion. The only flaw I could find is the cuffs. They have pretty big openings and no Velcro or snap to tighten it up and prevent wind from blowing up the sleeve. Other than that it’s really a great jacket. Five stars.

Great mid to late season protection from mountain winds and light rain or snow.

Wondering why it's their best seller. . .

I am a sucker for a good fund raiser, so I bought the Folds of Honor version of this. Well made for sure. However, trying to figure out its role. It's too loud for a hunting jacket. The inside is fleece and VERY sticky to clothes underneath it. Even with short sleeves it crammed them into my armpits. I actually took it to an alteration shop and had them sew in slick material in the sleeves. It's much more wearable now. It is windproof, but it's not particularly warm under about 45 degrees. Its temp range, for me at least, is about 45 to maybe a cool windy 65. Nice-looking, high quality materials, but pretty limited use, for me anyway.

Disappointed

Liked the new updated face fabric, but Was disappointed to see the fit has changed. The previous version in XLT fit perfect. This updated version feels tighter in the back and shoulders. 6’5 240lb athletic build.

Great wind protection

I’ve worn it on several deer and waterfowl hunts in the Midwest. Does a great job of cutting the wind and my core stays warm with proper layers. Without being able to clamp the cuffs down though wind comes up the sleeve and cools my lower arms but overall a great layering piece.

Solid Performance

Used this on a 5 day backcountry elk hunt. Excellent wind blocking characteristics, great durability and features (pit zips, pockets, general arrangement,etc. ). This jacket works perfectly as part of a Sitka system. 1 star removed for fabric noise. I have heard that this jacket quiets down with use and washing but time will tell.

Great jacket. I hunt and hike a lot in very windy areas. This jacket is definitely windproof, and has enough ventilation & breathability that I don't get too sweaty when hiking hard. The jacket is big enough where I can easily layer underneath it.
