Size chart is a bit off for the M and Lg
Im 5'10 and 185 pounds. I wear 34x30 levis jeans. Sitka's Size Chart says I should order a Large Stratus II pants / bibs - WAY TOO BIG. . The Medium firt much better, both in the pants and bibs. I have Stratus I (the older version. Size Lg) as its good for the early season in the NW woods of PA through mid season, and into the rut (with proper layering). I love the Stratus II which will now get me through the rut. I primarily hunt from the stand and I get cold easily, so I also ordered the Incinerator bibs and Jacket (both in size LARGE) for the Late season. :-) I hope this is helpful!

I wear this thing so
I wear this thing so much! I layer a 250 weight merino, then the Ambient, then this and I've taken it into the 20s, but ideally above freezing. It also breathes enough with those layers you can scout/track in it. True hiking I would take it off. For 20s and teens if sitting/hanging I wear the fanatic bibs under it or swap to the fanatic set, but I wear this 90% of the time during deer season in the midwest. It NEEDS pit zips, but besides that it is perfect for whitetail and all around jacket.

I love the stratus jacket!
I love the stratus jacket! I own 3 colors, because it’s so versatile. The hood is amazing and fits well without obstructing vision or being too tight. The hood does allow you to hear very well. If you’re not a good wearer, just take it off! Love love love stratus jacket and bibs. I’m 190#, 5’9”. Large works, but I wear a XL because of layers. An ambient under the stratus jacket will get you down into the upper 20-30s comfortably.
