Pants are quiet and comfortable. It had plenty of pockets for gear and taper at the bottom to fit in your rubber boots. Great fit by running a little big to accommodate layering.

Stratus Pants

These pants are great. I had an older pair of Cabelas guide fleece pants with a wind stop lining. They were good pants but I had to restitch the liner three times because they kept ripping. I decided this year to get some new hunting pants and got the stratus pants. I'm glad I did. I'll never go back to another pair of pants for mid to late deer season. These pants are 100% wind proof, quite, and super warm. Most days down to the 30s in MD I wear these just with a light base layer. These pants are great! No complaints I went with a large even thought they would be a little large for base layers. The only thing I would say is I wish Sitka sent the suspenders with these pants since they have the suspender loops. All in all GREAT PANTS !!!!! They don't disappoint.

I thought it seemed a little expensive, but after hunting and shivering I decided to make the spend. Very nice, quiet when walking, and much more enjoyable hunting if you stay warm! Also very light weight material.

Sitka believer

I recently bought the stratus pants and jacket. This is my new favorite setup. I recently went on a 3 day backpack trip, the sitka gear stops the wind and regulates your temperature perfectly. It is extremely quiet and fits great!

Just can’t beat these in mild temps. Comfort and warmth in the wind are superb.

These pants are just like the stratus coat, extremely comfortable and fall into the middle of the warm and really cold weather clothes. This one is an easy no brainer add on to the hunting ensemble as well.

So far so good for Stratus Pant!

Wind blocker is key to this pant and i needed it this year. Some people complain about the belt but i actually like the belt a lot, its very simple and effective. The rubber seal on the top portion of the pant prevent my under shirts from hiking up. Very comfortable and quiet pant. Does not seem to pick up as many burs as you might expect either. I recommend this pant for anything over 35 degrees F.

Perfect with the leggings

I got these for my man and the heavyweight base layer leggings. He has been comfortably wearing those two together in temperatures as low as mid 30’s! He usually wears a 32 x 34 and the medium was great for him. The bottom wasn’t scraping the ground even when he just had tennis shoes on. They fit just like sweatpants.

My favorite pant

I loved the Stratus in EV2 but our vegetation is green and brown through the winter in Maine. These paint in Subalpine are a game changer. I wear them on a stalk through the snow to a mid layer on cold sits.

My go to outer garments once it’s 70 or below. Windproof means helps contain scent a bit so for whitetail hunting in the Midwest that’s a plus. Definitely worth it and a must have! Fits great and is comfortable.

Awesome Product

I've worn several pairs of Timberline pants over the years which I love. The mountain pant is great also, however if you're looking for a warmer pant, these pants are amazing. Sitka's pictures really don't do most of their products justice(not enough photos of internal materials). I cannot speak of how they hold up against rain, but I was able to use these the last coupe days of my Elk hunt this 2023 year. When it was 22 degrees(f) in the morning with a chilly wind, my pair of thermals and these pants I never felt the wind nor the cold. I'm not sure they will hold up to the brush as good as the timberline or mountain pant, but time will tell. They are super warm, comfortable, and break the wind without question, just as Sitka states.

Owning several different pairs of pants, they all have subtle differences. These are my go to pants- incredibly comfortable

All around

Worked really well even in semi-warm conditions in the 70’s. The cargo pockets on each legs are a nice touch. I am 6’3” and got the large tall and it’s nice having that lol extra at the bottom of the legs to know you don’t look like you’re walking through a flood.
