These are a great pair

6’3, 230lbs, out of shape athletic build. XL or XXL can be tricky ordering online. Ordered an XL and they fit perfect. Could wear solo, or with base layer in comfort. Haven’t worn them in the field but very happy the size fits as it does. Own lots of Sitka gear, quality appears to be there on this pant as well.

For reference I’m 5’9” and 180 lbs, athletic build. I ordered the pants in a size medium. They’re an athletic fit and are true to size. If you plan on layering with a heavy base layer , or want a looser fit you may want to size up. Overall, this is great product. I would buy again.

Windstopper is awesome
Comfy and warm. Windstopper is awesome. Wore them mostly in the colder half of the season, down to zero degrees and subzero with windchills. Mostly with just some 350 weight merinos underneath. On a couple days I added some lightweight synthetics under those as well. Very cold and windy season this year and I was very happy with the stratus pants and jacket. Also hiked a couple miles at a time in them and did not overheat too bad or get overly sweaty. They aren’t really meant for those late season temps but if you layer up a little you can get by without buying another system. The fit is not the tight “athletic” cut so it allows for that pretty well. I’m 5’8” and 220 and have the xl pants and 2x jacket. Xl jacket fits great if I don’t have much for layers underneath.
