Great pack

Very happy with the first couple uses of the timber pack. I have not used it to cover miles yet but it has become my new outdoor backpack for the shooting range and duck blind. I like the bucket style of the bag, the lids opens wide to many pockets that are easy to access on the inside. It holds my large spotting scope safely as well as range finder, earmuffs, staple gun, targets, and ammo. My tripod is a little tall to fit inside but that’s not a deal breaker. It has more than enough room for things you need in the dick blind too. Again I would say the bucket style of this bag is great! Good protection from the elements and easy access

It's okay

A little pricey, I just got it because it matched the rest of my hunting outfit. I didn't use it that much. The size isn't really applicable.

It’s a nice bag like the design just wish it was all waterproof and had more functional pockets in the big area or maybe a removable divider. Other than that it’s a very nice bag.

The pack is great and seems to be of great quality. It has lots of pockets and love the built in tree strap. If I could change one thing - I would make the bottom/sides of the pack more rigid. They seem to cave in slightly but all in all, happy with it it.

I purchased this pack for my annual Missouri whitetail bow hunt. It worked great. The way the pack opens to the front is ideal for stand hunting as everything is at your fingertips and can be hung with the included belt around your tree or on the side of your stand. Additionally it fit all my layers plus I was able to strap my incinerator bibs/ fanatic vest to the outside when I needed them for extra warmth. The pack is just the right size for all day sits and not too big.

Great Backpack for walking into your secret hole or in the bottom of the boat running out to that raft of divers. I never leave home without it. And spacious enough to fit anything you might need for the day.

Great Waterproof Backpack

I bought this backpack because I went fishing on the Amazon River for a week, and I needed a waterproof backpack to keep the rain off some of my gear. It performed very well, and I think it will come in handy for duck hunting and other outdoor excursions. It's nice looking, works well, and you can feel the quality, just like all the other Sitka products. It was comfortable to wear.

It’s a nice pack that has good features such as the tree strap and gun hook and duck lanyards. Bottom 1/3 of bag is waterproof but the top 2/3 is just resistant. Any good rain and anything you have inside the bag is going to be soaked so be mindful

Timber Pack Backpack

Considering the quality and thought that goes into Sitka’s layering systems, this backpack is simply serviceable and could be improved. The top zipper to the main compartment tends to stick on the corners. There could be more built in compartment areas. Love the tree strap and gun holder. Straps are comfortable. It’s an average backpack that could use some revamping.

Exactly what I wanted for timber hunting when the blind bag is too much.

Just got the pack, seems pretty tough, I like the bottom being water proof and it stands up well. Zippers can be a bit tough around the corners, but the main thing I'd want to see done better is organization for small items- some mesh pockets, or just more pockets in general. Other than that the pack seems pretty great.

Bought this for Whitetail use and it is the best extreme-terrain whitetail day pack I’ve ever operated with. This pack is baller status. Totes a bomb proof bottom & a bucket style cargo bay w/multiple access options. The tree hugger strap is essential holds your snacks while you hang and bang all day. #therackmissouri

Nice pack

I appreciate the quality of craftsmanship and design of the timber pack. I do wish the waterproof material was further up the sides and front of the pack, or some other type of waterproof material lining the camo portion of the pack. It has plenty of room to carry the items I need for a walk in waterfowl hunt and I really like the integrated straps to carry game.

Initial review is optimistically good

Fits well, comfortable fully loaded and appears to be well built. Time will tell of course and the next waterfowl season will truly test it as we grind pretty hard and we are hard on our equipment. The only change I would make on my initial evaluation is that there would be more strapping/tiedown options on the exterior for securing blind stools and folding dove chairs as were quite mobile.

Got this for the use on the boat and it is amazing .. lots of in side storage as well as multiple zippers that makes access a Breeze it’s not 100% water proof but with a little bite of water repellent spray I’ve never had an issue with it

Fantastic All Around Pack

I love this bag! I use it as my everyday blind bag. It's definitely built for flooded timber but it works for your everyday use as well. I like the stiff back that allows the bag to stand up on its own. The zipper on the front allows you to pass right through and get to your DRY shells very easily. Definitely a beast in the flooded timber as well. The bird lanyard is a very nice addition and eliminates the need to carry one freeing up space.
