Bought this for my wife after getting myself one. (So she would give mine back!) we use them as a mid or outer layer skiing. They have been excellent for these and the hood fits under your helmet. Very warm for a hoodie. Not much for wind blocking but it clearly says it’s not intended for that which is why really cold days it’s a mid layer.
