I've previously used a Sitka beanie, but I've always had trouble keeping it securely in place. The Blizzard GTX Hat, however, fits exceptionally well. I particularly like the fold-down fleece ear flaps, which provide additional coverage and protection from the cold and wind.
I tried it on with the Merino 330 Hoodie I recently purchased, and the combination feels fantastic. The fit is comfortable, the coverage is excellent, and everything works together nicely. I'm looking forward to putting both pieces to the test during the upcoming duck hunting season, especially on those cold, windy mornings in the blind!
